ACE is excited to announce our first annual Pickleball fundraising tournament, co-sponsored by Louisa County Parks and Recreation. We have missed being able to hold our well-supported trivia contests during the pandemic, so this will be a great way to get outside and have some fun together safely. This is not a USA-sanctioned tournament, but will be just for our own personal enjoyment with a bit of friendly competition. Of course, there will be awards and prizes!
This will be a fun day for the participants and for those who want to learn more about pickleball and offer support to ACE. We have worked hard during the pandemic to keep our doors open and creatively help our students be successful. The programs we continue to offer will be sustained and enhanced by funds raised by this event. We hope you will participate by being a player, a volunteer, or a contributor! |
Support ACE with In-Kind or Monetary Donations
As we continue to navigate the pandemic, we have found that offering laptops enables more of our students to keep studying. If you are updating, please consider donating your old laptop to ACE. Other in-kind donations are also welcome!

Stock DonationsIf you have owned stock (or mutual funds) for at least a year and a day and it has increased in value, you can donate the stock to a ACE, take a deduction equal to the fair market value of the stock at the time of the transfer (it's increased value), and never pay capital gains on the appreciated value of the stock.
Ace will also never owe capital gains tax on that stock. We work with a brokerage firm to sell the stock right away so that we can put the money to work helping promote adult literacy in Louisa When you consider your giving strategy, please check with your tax advisor about the possibility of donating stock. |

TEAM TRIVIA FUNDRAISERWe had to hit the "pause" button on our popular Team Trivia Night fundraiser in 2020-2021. We look forward to the time when it is safe for us to gather inside and enjoy an evening of good food, friendly competition, and loads of laughter. In the meantime, the need for funds to keep our doors open and our lights on did not pause. If you've attended Trivia Night in the past (or even if you haven't!) we hope that you will consider making a donation - in any amount - to help us continue to provide our much-needed programs to Louisa County adults. |
